1. Service

Scrappilot provides a web scraping API that converts URLs into Markdown, HTML, or plain text. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptable Use

Scrappilot is intended only for lawful scraping of publicly accessible URLs where you have the right to collect the data. You agree to use Scrappilot only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not:

  • Scrape login-protected or access-controlled content without authorization
  • Bypass paywalls, CAPTCHAs, rate limits, robots.txt, or technical protections
  • Harvest personal data unlawfully
  • Scrape websites where scraping is prohibited by the site's terms of service
  • Infringe copyright, database rights, privacy rights, or third-party terms
  • Access non-public data or systems without permission
  • Use the service for distributed denial-of-service attacks or excessive request volume

3. API Keys & Account

You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Any activity under your key is your responsibility. You may create an account via Google OAuth only.

4. Credits & Payments

Credits are purchased via one-time payments through Paddle. Credits never expire. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

5. Limitation of Liability

Scrappilot is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for damages arising from use of the service, including data loss, downtime, or scraping results.

6. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
